Oh boy was last night ever so fun I won't soon forget it!
Last night was the Short Short Festival in Philly at Marty MaGee's, and boy did the NG crew roll on up in our tank to represent our own way: Cartoons, Beer, and Peeing out said beer in the really clean toilets!
Let's get started:
After finally finding a place to park there were a couple of merch tents in the parking lot hockin' merch for @Barnhouse with a couple of game consoles to play on, and a really nice vendor by the name of Cosplay Mutt...
...which had this awesome Steven Universe replicate Van! I also had a bag of really awesome goodies because I was one of the artists that submitted a cartoon to the event, sadly at the start we got rained on real hard and my bag disintegrated. I'll likely post in the supporter forum lounge thread on the stuff I got!
One of the first newgrounders that I got to meet was @GreenGungeGirl (really nice)! She also came away as one of the winners of the raffle for an original piece drawn by Tom Warburton of the Cartoon Network hit series: KND Kids Next Door!
A Storyboard version of "Galactic Kids Next Door" was shown.
@Raviolibox and @NickSenny and the @PukeBomb boys was also there! Ravi also recently did a interview with @Aalastier which you should check out!

I have alot more pictures including Tom Fulp being all sweaty, but gosh dang it, I've maxed out my picture limit! Maybe next time! I also was carrying around a portfolio book of story beats for my next short i would like to submit next year and doing elevator pitches for it as well. :P
In summery, This was by far the best NG Meetup I gone to! Lots of fun memories made, new people met, new cartoons from both our group and college and other indie animators-- man if you are local to either areas that @barnhouse does these showcases, I greatly invite you to please follow them and find out when they will be accepting submissions for the next festival.
As for Newgrounders that showed up, named and unnamed: Your presence (and in absentia but have supported Barnhouse) was greatly appreciated and I don't know how to properly thank you. This night from beginning to end was perfect. 5 Stars you beautiful bastards.
I am currently hard at work at something else at the moment, on top of my next cartoon I am meticulously planning. I will have more on that sometime later in august.
